a westerly breeze.

Today's been a good day. I spent most of it puttering around the home, cleaning, doing laundry, paying bills and whatnot. It seems my usual Saturdays are typically consumed with more whatnot than all the other things I should be doing, but not today.

After dinner, I decided to take a walk with my friend Arturo Fuente. I guess it left me feeling a bit nostalgic (if that's even the right word) for Vegas. I was there just a week ago and I miss it. I miss it terribly. As I walked around my apartment complex, smoking my cigar, I mentally put myself where I was last week: walking The Strip.

Earlier in the day, as I cleaned up around home, I found a few casino cheques (chips) from Vegas: MGM Grand, Mirage, Golden Gate (Heather!) and O'Shea's. It nearly made me weepy.

I'm looking at going back in August. For business or pleasure? Perhaps a little bit of both. By then, I'll have a clearer idea of which way the wind is blowing in Indy. Truth be told, I'm hoping it's a westerly breeze.
