SHUT UP!!!!!!!

I wish I had some pull from McRobbie's office, what with me being a former employee of his and all. And when I say 'a former employee of his', I mean I worked in his office when he was the VP of IT at IU (all I need is one more acronym and I get gin). From the IndyStar.com Web site:

Dylan, Costello to rock IU homecoming

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. -- Rock icons Bob Dylan and Elvis Costello will perform Oct. 19 at Indiana University as part of homecoming week celebrations.

"The opportunity to bring a show to Assembly Hall is rare, but this is a perfect fit," IU auditorium director Doug Booher said.

Organizers have been working on the event for about eight months, he said.
Dylan and Costello will be joined on stage by folk, soul and jazz singer-songwriter Amos Lee.

"Celebrate IU Week," Oct. 13-21, will also feature musical performances by Andre Watts, Marietta Simpson and David Baker and comedy by David Sedaris as part of more than 30 cultural offerings on IU's eight campuses.

Costello is a Rock and Roll Hall of Famer known for songs like "Veronica," "Pump It Up" and "Alison."

Dylan has been one of the most influential popular music artists in recent decades, and is regarded by many as a poet. His hits include "Blowin' in the Wind," "The Times They Are a-Changin'," "Like a Rolling Stone" and "All Along the Watchtower." He was ranked No. 2 in Rolling Stone magazine's 100 Greatest Artists of All Time in 2004, second only to the Beatles.

Time for me to attend homecoming!
